Lochaber Rotary will again running the Young Photographer Competition and the theme to be followed this year is ‘Happiness in Nature’, which can be interpreted as broadly as the Young Photographer wishes and does not need to conform to any dictionary definition.
In the local heat there will be only two age groups for this competition: Intermediate, 11 to 13; Senior, 14 to 17 years old. The qualifying age date is 31 August 2025.

The closing date for the Lochaber heat will be during December 2025 with the dates and entry method being handled by schools.
The winners of the Lochaber heat will go forward in January 2026 to the Rotary District Final. District 1320 extends from Lochaber to cover the entire West and South of Scotland, including Edinburgh and the Lothians.
